"Swing Into Healthcare 2019: Fore the Kids!"

Thirty-one teams played in the fourth annual Gove County Medical Center charity golf tournament on Friday, August 9th, at the Grinnell Cow Paddy Golf Club.

Golfers from all over Northwest Kansas enjoyed a perfect, sunny day as they golfed "with a twist." The Grinnell Cow Paddy Club added several fun games on the course, such as "tee off from a toilet," or "Tee off with an Air Cannon." Players were served a sack lunch and a full BBQ meal following the tournament. Each player received a door prize at the end of the tournament that included donations from over 50 businesses and totaled over 100 items.

The goal for the tournament was to reach $15,000.00 to pay for new playground equipment at both of GCMC's two Tender Hearts child care facilities. Thanks to the generosity of the many sponsors, donors, and golfers for helping reach the goal!
